Third wheel

This is the stunning view from the Westridge Outlook overlooking Lake Wivenhoe west towards the Great Dividing Range. The magical pinks and purples in the sky are from the volcanic ash still circulating high up in the atmosphere.

From my experience, there are two types of people that frequent this particular lookout. The first group are the couples looking to soak up a beautiful sunset with their picnic rugs, charcuterie boards and Rosé Champagne.

The second are photographers, like myself, feeling like I am intruding and very much the third wheel. But also hungry, very hungry after looking at the delicious food people are eating.
